# Your customer

> Switch between customers and keep your customer's details and AI settings up to date.

In Tolk, every project belongs to a **customer**: your organization. You only see the customers in which you have a role in a project.

## The active customer

You always work in one **active customer**: the home page and [Usage](/guide/plan-and-usage#the-usage-page) show that customer. Switch with the customer switcher in the navigation bar. If you open a project of another customer you are allowed to see, through a link or the search, that customer becomes active automatically. If you switch customer on a project page, you go to the new customer's project overview.

## Customer settings

A manager keeps the settings of the active customer up to date. Open the user menu (your avatar, top right) and choose **Settings** (*Instellingen*), or choose **Customer settings** (*Klantinstellingen*) at the bottom of the customer switcher. Both are there for users who are a **Manager** in at least one project of the active customer. Developers and translators do not see them.

The settings have three sections.

### General

The first page (*Instellingen*). Here you change:

* the **name** of the customer;
* the **contact person** and their **email address**;
* the **logo**: PNG, JPG or WebP, at most 1 MB and 32 to 2048 pixels. It appears in the customer switcher and the search.

Click **Save changes** (*Wijzigingen opslaan*).

### Plan

The customer's plan with its limits and what is in use, read-only. See [Plan and usage](/guide/plan-and-usage). To change the plan, contact Every Day, your Tolk contact.

### AI

* **Allow AI translation** (*AI-vertaling toestaan*): whether the customer's projects may use [AI translation](/guide/ai-translation) at all. Each project also has its own switch in its settings.
* **Style instruction** (*Stijlinstructie*): the tone of voice, formal or informal address and audience that the AI follows for all projects of the customer.
* This month's **AI budget** and the **costs** per month and per project, read-only. The budget comes with the plan; to change it, contact Every Day.

Click **Save changes** (*Wijzigingen opslaan*).
