# Team

> Add people to a project, choose their role and limit translators to certain languages.

Under **Settings › Team** (*Instellingen › Team*), a manager sees who works on the project, with their role and languages.

## Add a member

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add member">
    Click **Add member** (*Lid toevoegen*) and enter the email address.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a role">
    Choose **Manager**, **Developer** or **Translator** (*Vertaler*). See [Roles and permissions](/getting-started/roles-and-permissions).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Languages (for translators)">
    Check the languages a translator may work in. Nothing checked means: all languages.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Language of the invitation">
    Choose whether the invitation is sent in Dutch or English (**Language of the invitation**, *Taal van de uitnodiging*).
  </Step>
</Steps>

* If the person already has an account, they get access immediately.
* An external user without an account receives an invitation email. It is listed under **Pending invitations** (*Openstaande uitnodigingen*) until it is accepted. You can resend or revoke an invitation there.
* The customer's [plan](/guide/plan-and-usage) limits the number of users. The team page shows how many are in use. When all are in use, you can still add people who already work in another project of the customer and Every Day colleagues, but not someone new; contact Every Day for a larger plan.

## Change a role or languages, or remove someone

Change the role or the languages directly in the table. In the menu next to a name, choose **Remove from project** (*Verwijderen uit project*): the person loses access, but their translations and the history are kept.

You cannot change your own role and languages. Ask another manager of the project or contact Every Day.
